Campground Managers, Caroline and Tom Siurna, are waiting to welcome you to the lovely little Merrickville Lions Campground in the middle of town, and on the banks of the Rideau Canal.
OFFICE HOURS: 8am to 8pm.

Our address is 10 Saint John Street, Merrickville, Ontario, K0G 1N0 and provide you site number.
BEACH: Within a 10-15 minute walk, there is a public beach (no lifeguard), a playground and a running track is a five-minute walk.
BIKES: Please ride with caution and only on the roads. Please supervise your children to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
BOAT LAUNCH: Complimentary for Lions Club campers and available to non-campers and boaters for $5.00. An annual boat launch pass may be purchased for $40.00. The boat launch accommodates boats up to 22 feet in length. Please note there is no boat tie-up allowed in the canal.
KAYAK AND CANOE RENTALS: Kayaks and canoes are available to rent in the office at the Lions Campground.
DIRECTIONS:
From KEMPTVILLE, take highway 43 West (exit # 34 off 416 highway). Continue on highway 43 West, through Kemptville for approximately 15 minutes. As you enter Merrickville, you will pass under a train bridge and at the first stop sign in town you will see the United Church on the right. Continue across St. Lawrence Street and after passing the Blockhouse Museum on the right, turn right onto Saint John Street. The street curves at the entrance to our campground. Welcome!
From SMITHS FALLS, take highway 43 East for approximately 15 minutes. The highway turns right at the chip stand. Pass over the canal and turn right onto Main Street. Turn right onto Saint John Street (the first right) and the street curves into our campground entrance. Welcome!
From HIGHWAY 401, exit #721. Take highway 416 north to the Kemptville Highway 43 exit (exit number 34). Then follow the directions above from Kemptville.
DUMP STATION: Complimentary for Lions Club campers and available to non-campers for $10.00.
EVENTS: A calendar of events is posted on the Lions Club bulletin board and in the office.
FIREWOOD: Complimentary for Lions Club campers. Campfires permitted in the fire-pit rings supplied. In the event of a fire ban, campers will be notified and expected to abide by the fire ban rule.
Absolutely no moving of the fire-pits as there are underground utility lines. Fires need to be extinguished when you leave your site and when you retire for the evening. Bringing firewood into the Lions Club campground is prohibited.
GARBAGE: Please use small bags, tie them closed and place inside designated garbage bins. Do not burn garbage or leave it on your site, including cigarette butts, bottle caps, bread ties, peanut shells and can tabs. Please sort your recycling at our designated recycling stations.
RECYCLING: Please sort glass and plastics recycling at the designated recycling stations.
ICE: Ice is available for purchase at the office for $3.75 per bag.
LAUNDRY: Coin operated laundry machines are available for Lions Club campers and boaters. The machines are located on the backside of the office. Wash and dry $4.00 each load (loonies and/or quarters accepted). You must provide your own laundry soap.
LEGION: The Merrickville Legion Branch 245 is very close and available for Friday night dinners and entertainment. See bulletin board for schedule.
LIONS: Welcome visiting Lions members! Our meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, 7pm at the Goose and Gridiron Restaurant, St. Lawrence Street, here in Merrickville. Come join us in the back room for our meeting.
MESSAGES: Messages received by the campground managers will be posted in the office. Only emergency messages will be delivered to your site.

PLAYGROUND: A playground is a 10-15 minute walk.
RESERVATIONS: To check site availability or to make a reservation, please contact us at 613-269-3702 or camp@merrickvillelions.ca. For the 2023 camping season, we will reply to messages left during the off-season beginning on May 17, 2023.
RULES & REGULATIONS: Please read and follow the rules and regulations. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the Lions Club campground managers.
RUNNING TRACK: A running track is a 10-15 minute walk.
SEASON DATES: For the 2023 camping season, we open on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, and we close on Monday, October 9, 2023.
SHOPPING: Unique shops, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores one block away.
SHOWER FACILITIES: Complimentary for Lions Club campers, and available to boaters for $5.00 per person.
WASHROOMS: Please help us keep the washrooms clean. They are closed for cleaning from 10:00am to 10:30am and 7:00pm to 7:30pm. If the washrooms are not clean, please let us know. Children six and under must be accompanied by an adult please. A key is available (deposit required).
WATER: Available to boaters for a small fee/donation.
WIRELESS HIGHSPEED INTERNET: Complimentary for Lions Club campers (next to the office).
