Come to Merrickville (Jewel of the Rideau) and enjoy sightseeing on the beautiful Rideau River with its Canals, Locks, Bird Sanctuary, Historical Homes and more!
Single Kayak Rental
$20 per hour/ $30 for 2 hours
($10 for each additional hour)
Double Kayak or Canoe Rental
$30 per hour/ $45 for 2 hours
($10 for each additional hour)
All proceeds from the rentals goes toward what we can contribute to local charities and projects!
• PFD’s (youth to adult) & Safety kits provided. • Kayak launch ramp facilitating entering and exiting the water.
"A campground that also services Boaters. Most boaters are looking for services and have trouble finding them. Things like showers, ice and drinking water. This place can service all of those needs. If you tie up at the end of the blue line at the upper lock for a small fee they’ll allow you to shower. Sell you ice, it’s so close it won’t melt while you walk home with it and it’s cheaper than any others that I saw in town. They will run a hose out to their property line to connect to yours to fill your boat. Fantastic service, really nice people."
